Vision 2016: Together Making a Difference
Our five-year strategic plan is the product of teamwork with the community, our staff and our partners. It is a rich tapestry of wisdom and experience woven by countless people and groups. Serving first as an important backdrop for the process, the Region’s statement of purpose continues to provide a foundation for developing RHA Central’s Strategic Plan:
The Regional Health Authority – Central Manitoba Inc. exists so that people in our Region are as healthy as they can be at a reasonable cost to the community.
Our statement of purpose remains at the heart of why RHA Central exists. Derived from this statement, four Board ENDs provide a framework for elaborating our strategic plan:
- Healthy people and a healthy environment
- Healthy responsive and innovative organization
- Access to the most appropriate care in the most appropriate settings
- Sustainable, safe and integrated client-centred health care system
Finally, our Strategic Priorities outline the key issues to be addressed in developing Operational Strategies which guide the organization and provide direction in the pursuit of our commitment to achieving our purpose with integrity, caring and excellence.
